Proposed Amateur South Island Clinic.

To all Amateur / rookie / Novice Riders

This year the AQHA-NZ (SI) is looking at holding an Amateur Clinic in August.

We will be having North Island Trainers as well as South. Riders will be grouped by ability and all groups will rotate around and work with all the trainers over the two days. A variety of skills and riding styles will be covered with the focus on improving communication between horse and rider, rider position and precision of manoeuvres.

We are still working on a costing for this weekend but we will be limiting the number of horse / rider combo to 15. No limit on fence sitting. There will also be food available for this weekend, camping and yards.

If you have already attended one of our clinics as a non AQHA-NZ rider then you must become a AQHA-NZ member to attend this clinic.  You MUST ride a quarter horse but you do not have to own it.

This email is to let you know that something is going to happen and once we have confirmed our trainer and will be able to give you a date. Then forms will be sent out. It will be a first in basis because of the limited number but we hoping to be able to accommodate everyone.

Kind Regards Denise Miller and Morag Balderstone.
Please email Denise or Morag to register your interest by clicking on either of their names.
